Senior Digital Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The senior digital hardware engineer will collaborate with other design engineers on the design and development of various board & box level digital hardware designs for Zonare’s medical products. The successful candidate will design, prototype and certify the hardware.

RequiredSkills

Skills Required:
  • BSEE degree (MSEE a bonus)
  • 5 years designing embedded high-performance digital products
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of digital clocking basics (timing margin analysis and clock non-idealities)
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of high-speed (DDR2, LVDS, and Gb/s serial) digital design, including signal integrity and EMI compliance
  • Good understanding of high-speed bus protocols (DDR2, PCI/PCI-e, SRIO) and peripheral buses (USB 2.0)
  • Experience with high-end microprocessors DSPs, and FPGAs, including various approaches to connecting them together
  • Experience developing medical products
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where learning new skills is valued
